Can I appeal if my car fails?
Yes, if you disagree with the outcome of the MOT inspection you are entitled to appeal against the decision. The appeal must be lodged with DVSA/DVA within 28 days of the original test date.

What does a car MOT check?
In a MOT check we will test all of the following to check they are working correctly, Brakes, Doors, Exhaust emissions, Exhaust system, Fuel system, Horn, Lights, Mirrors, Seatbelts, Seats, Steering and suspension, Registration plate, Vehicle structure, Wheels and tyres, Wipers and washers, Windscreen.
What MOT classes can you provide?
We provide class 4 MOT’s, this includes cars, taxis, minibuses, motor caravans and goods vehicles not exceeding 3000 kg and class 7 Goods vehicles over 3,000 kg up to and including 3,500 kg.
When is My Car Eligible for its First MOT?

If you have a brand new car then you do not need a MOT for 3 years after first registration.
When is my MOT due?

If you have been to us before we send out reminders when your MOT is due. If your vehicle is more than 3 years old it needs a MOT every year to check it meets the minimum road safety and environmental standards.
My car has failed its MOT, can I still drive it?
Yes you may drive your vehicle still if it fails its test if your mot certificate is still valid. You may take your car for a MOT one month before it the certificate expires. Though because your car has failed there are faults with the vehicle so if you do get stopped by the police you could be prosecuted because your vehicle could not be roadworthy.
How much will my MOT Cost?
If you book online with us it will only cost you £39.95. The maximum fee for a car is £54.85. You don’t pay VAT on the fee.
How long will my MOT take?
A MOT will take one hour, but may take longer if it needs to have any minor repairs done to it.
